What kind of wording can I put on my picket?
You may have your name, family name/s or the name of a loved one on your picket.
For example:
John Smith
Smith Family
John and Jane Smith
In memory of John Smith
Please note, there is a limit of 55 characters. The Adelaide Football Club reserves the right to reject any messaging that could be deemed offensive or inappropriate.
Can I pledge more than one (1) picket?
Yes. Once you have added your first picket to the cart, please click "Pledge another picket" and repeat the process.
When will I be able to see my name on the pickets at Thebarton?
Pickets and plaques will be installed once the precinct is close to completion. You will be notified by the Club once the pickets are available for viewing.
How will I know where to find my picket?
The Club will provide you with a picket number once the pickets have been installed at Thebarton.
There is a limited number of pickets around the oval boundary.
Can I choose where my picket is placed along the fence line at Thebarton Oval?
No. Pickets will be allocated in order of when they were pledged. We will not be able to facilitate specific location requests at this time.
Can my picket be next to a friend or family members?
If you would like to be next to a friend or family member’s picket, please ensure you pledge your pickets together in the same transaction.
If you are unable to do this, please send a request through to pickets@afc.com.au and we will try to facilitate where possible.
Can I pledge a picket to be recognised with someone else's name as a gift?
Yes. You may enter someone else's name in the "What name/s or family name would you like to be engraved on your picket plaque?" field.
You may also send them a notificiation of this gift and elect to send on a specific date with an e-card by selecting "Yes" in the "Is this a gift for someone else" section and following the prompts.
Please ensure you enter your own details in the "Personal Details" section upon checkout.
Can I pledge a picket in my company's name?
Yes, you can have a company name engraved on the picket instead of the name of an individual or family. The tax receipt will be sent to the entity donating.
What will my name look like on my picket?
Please see a picket example below, which may appear differently in final production.

How long will I be recognised for on my picket at Thebarton?
Your name will be recognised on your picket at Thebarton for a period of 10 years from installation.
What happens to my plaque after the 10 years?
If the Adelaide Football Club elects to re-run the campaign, you will be contacted with further information.
Is my picket transferrable post death? Can I place it as a bequest in my will?
No. The name you have selected will remain on the picket fence at Thebarton for a period of 10 years from the time of picket installation.
I've made a mistake with the name I have provided for my picket. Can I change it?
Yes. Please email pickets@afc.com.au within 30 days to correct any changes to your picket.
I want my donation to be anonymous; do I have to be recognised on a picket?
If you would prefer your donation to be anonymous and are not interested in having your name recognised on a picket, you may still pledge a picket and input a generic message to be engraved on the plaque.

Do I get a discount for being a Crows member?
Yes. All current 2026 Crows members have the opportunity to donate during an exclusive early bird window and to receive a discount.
The exclusive code must be entered at the checkout to receive the discount during the early bird period of Tuesday 18 November 2025 – Monday 7 December 2025. Please ensure you use your email connected with your Crows membership. Please check your emails for further information.

What are my payment options? Can I pay in instalments?
You may pay your donation via Mastercard, Visa, AMEX or PayPal.
PayPal offer a 'Pay in 4' option which allows you to pay your donation in four (4) instalments.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Your donation to the Adelaide Football Club's Pledge Your Picket campaign is made to the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) for the benefit of the Adelaide Football Club. The ASF is a Deductible Gift Recipient - Type 1 which enables donations of $2 or more to be tax-deductible specifically for Sport in Australia.

When will I receive my tax-deductible receipt?
You will receive your tax-deductible gift receipt from the Australian Sports Foundation within 30 days of your donation once donor information is provided by Adelaide Football Club.
This will be sent to the email provided in "Personal Details" section upon checkout, so please ensure these details are accurate.
I can't find my tax receipt. Can you resend it?

Why is the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) sending me the tax-deductible receipt?
The Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) is a deductible gift recipient established by the Australian Government to raise funds for the development of sport in Australia. The Adelaide Football Club has registered with the ASF for this campaign, allowing for all gifts of $2 or more to be tax-deductible. I've changed my mind. Can I get a refund?
As per the ASF’s terms and conditions, all donations are non-refundable.
I want to support the Adelaide Football Club's efforts to raise funds for the Thebarton Oval Precinct, but I can't afford to pledge a picket. What are my options?
We want our members and fans to feel comfortable contributing at a level that suits them, so we will be offering opportunities to support at different levels in the future.
Project Funding
What will the money be used for?
Funds raised through picket donations will directly help to make Adelaide Football Club's new home at Thebarton a reality. By supporting this campaign, you can secure your place in history and help the Club take flight towards a future of sustained success on and off the field.
Who is funding the Thebarton Oval Precinct?
The Club has secured substantial funding from Federal, State and Local Governments, along with AFL and through the sale of our building at West Lakes. We have also received considerable support from a number of generous donors.
The Picket campaign is an opportunity for valued Club members and fans to also help support the funding and development of this exciting once in a life time initiative.
